Защита окружающей среды
УРОК-ПРОЕКТ «Защита окружающей среды» 9 класс План-конспект урока-проекта по английскому языку в 9 классе. Тема урока: Environmental friendly group. Практическая цель - совершенствование лексико-грамматических навыков, совершенствование монологических умений, развитие умения воспринимать иноязычную речь на слух, совершенствование навыков чтения. Образовательная цель - пополнение лексического минимума учащихся. Развитие коммуникативных навыков. Развивающая цель - развитие способностей учащихся (языковых, интеллектуальных), развитие творческого мышления, навыков употребления новых лексических и грамматических единиц в речи. Развитие навыков работы в группах. Воспитательная цель - воспитание любознательности, интереса к английскому языку, расширение кругозора, воспитание бережного отношения к природе. Задачи: 1. Развитие речевых умений (монологические высказывания по темам: «Мусор на улицах», «Проблема загрязнения окружающей среды», защита проекта.) 2. Активизация пройденного материала ( лексика по теме «Защита окружающей среды», употребление модального глагола should.) 3. Совершенствование и автоматизация лексических навыков. 4. Совершенствование умения общего понимания иноязычной речи на слух. 5. Совершенствование навыков поискового чтения, изучающего чтения. Оснащение урока: картинки, карточки, электронные презентации по теме «Проблемы окружающей среды», видеоклипы о воде, песня Битлз «Imagine» , учебник 9 кл. I. Организационный момент. Определение темы урока. Актуализация. -Hello, everybody! Nice to see you. Sit down, please. How are you? -Fine, thanks! And you? -I’m well, thank you, but I’m sad, because while preparing for the lesson I saw these pictures. What do you see on them? -We can see litter, water and air pollution. Do you think it is dangerous? Let’s speak about it. Look at the "quotation” J. Yolworthy and read it aloud. Our task is not only speak about ecological problems, but to create environmental friendly group. (Lexical work) Let’s get started. We have a special guest. This is Environmental activist Liza Gubenko. Listen to her and write down the date and the scheme: "Environmental problems”. ( Несколько учеников работают) Teacher: Let’s begin with the words. Учащиеся читают слова по карточкам). 1-ый ученик читает и переводит. Environment, ecology, pollution, overcrowding, destruction, resources, exhaust, extinct, habitat, littering, living things. 2-ой ученик читает и переводит с вставленными словами. (Living things). - The natural home of a plant or animal. (Habitat). Teacher: Good job! II. Изучение нового материала. We have listened to the problems of ecology. Be ready to do the quiz. The work in groups will help you . Mind to feel the self-control cards. You’ve divided into 3 groups of 3 or 4. I gave you three problems for discussion. You task was to find the information and make reports. It’s high time to tell us about the given topics in brief and give suggestions how we can solve these problems. One by one. One group reports, others- listen to, then ask questions or say your impressions. Start, please! Каждая группа представляет свои презентации, другие группы слушают, а после выступления задают вопросы и высказывают своё отношение к данной проблеме. Teacher: Have you ever thought of your future? Do you think the people of tomorrow will be happier that we are? Звучит отрывок из песни Джона Леннона "Imagine”. Teacher: I shall read you a sentence. If it is optimistic raise your red card. If it is pessimistic- a blue one (перед уроком учащиеся получили карточки двух цветов). 1. In future people will live longer, many diseases will disappear. 2. People will cut down all the forests. 3. There will be no fish in the rivers. 4. We shall be able to control the weather. 5. We shall not be able to breathe without a gas mask on. 6. We shall exhaust all the resources. 7. There won’t be any conflicts between people. 8. We shall find new sources of energy. Teacher: 1. Fill in the missing words. 2. If you want to look after the environment, there certain things we should or shouldn’t do. Complete these two lists.
